Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. I was wanting something sweet and decided to stop in to this bakery. They had a variety of different cupcakes so I bought 3 and I was not disappointed. They were rich and creamy and completely satisfied my sweet tooth craving. I really loved the icing because it was smooth and silky unlike some other local places that have specialty cupcakes where the icing was a little firm. The people who worked here were extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend stopping in to support their business because you canโ€™t go wrong here.

โ€‹I stopped by here after visiting the butcher's market next door. The cute exterior and the name "Whisk and Batter" immediately caught my eye, and walking in, the display of cakes and cupcakes looked absolutely beautiful. My girls and I ordered a slice of bourbon peaches cake, a chocolate galore cupcake and a strawberry banana pudding. โ€‹Unfortunately, the taste didn't quite live up to the gorgeous presentation: โ€‹Bourbon Peaches Cake Slice: It looked amazing, but the yellow cake inside felt very basic, and I could barely taste any actual peach or bourbon flavor. โ€‹Chocolate Galore Cupcake: The cake base was standard, and the frosting was just a bit too sweet for my liking. โ€‹Strawberry Banana Pudding: This was decent and tasted good, but it was ultimately pretty average. โ€‹For the price, I expected a bit more depth of flavor and high-quality, unique taste rather than standard cakes. โ€‹On a quick side note, the service at the register could have been warmer. The young lady working didn't greet me or smile and I felt a bit rushed, though I know staff can have busy, stressful days. Overall, it's a beautiful shop with great presentation, but the treats themselves felt a bit overpriced for t

When I walked in and was told it would be $20 for four cupcakes, I was definitely surprisedโ€”$5 per cupcake caught me off guard. Times have definitely changed! That said, two were purchased, and they were tasty. We got a carrot cake cupcake and a classic vanilla, and both were good.

Absolutely lovely bakery. They helped me on a difficult day, which was much appreciated. Lovely, delicate flavor cupcake. Not over powering in sweetness (the icing was sweeter than the cake) which I appreciated. Easy to eat another oneโ€ฆ and another one. Very friendly staff and cute interior. Definitely recommend

Got four cupcakes for my girlfriend for Valentine's Day. The shop and service were great. Gotta say the cupcakes themselves were a bit underwhelming.. we got the Lemon Drop, Birthday Cake, Strawberry Cream and Chocolate Cream. Visually they look awesome but the names feel a bit misleading as we would have thought the cakes themselves would have reflected the flavors but in reality they were all just vanilla or chocolate cupcakes. For example the only thing lemony about the lemon drop was the smidgen of yellow on the top (I guess it was just a drop ๐Ÿ˜…).. for birthday cake we expected some sort of funfetti type of the cake.. strawberry had nothing strawberry about it in the cake. Maybe we just don't know pastries but we would have expected the cakes themselves to shine more than relying solely on the icing and aesthtic. Really wanted to like them though!
